OFFICE POLICIES

OFFICE POLICIES & FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS

We will offer you the best dental treatment at the suggested fee guide prices for all of our procedures. We offer many ways for you to plan for your treatment. Visa and debit cards are accepted, as well as your personalized checks. Traditional insurance plans are always accepted and on occasion financial arrangements may be made with Janet.

DENTAL INSURANCE

Many benefit plans are changing rapidly and this can cause misunderstandings about your coverage. Please make yourself familiar with your coverage and aware of any limitations. At the time of treatment, you will be responsible for any portion not covered. Your insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. Many insurance companies will not provide us with information directly. Most insurance doesn’t cover comprehensive dental care, just the minimum. It’s really not insurance, it’s a “maintenance plan”. Don’t let your coverage dictate your dental health.

DENTAL EMERGENCIES

We place special priority with all emergency needs. Should a dental emergency arise, call the office and we will make every effort to attend to your need quickly. We do our very best to treat emergencies immediately. If you have an after hours emergency, Dr. Raj can be reached by calling our office at (250) 749-3233. You will be given any forwarding numbers and your call will be returned as quickly as possible.

The Oral-Systemic Link: Monsters in Your Mouth

Jamie Toop, DDS, with Rebecca Sorci After presenting about the link between oral and systemic health at a recent meeting in Chicago, a woman thanked me for my presentation. She told me that her husband died 2 years prior from infective endocarditis following a root canal. He was a healthy football player in his 20s. […]

Through Nature and Evolution

The art and science of restoring damaged teeth with restorations that mimic natural teeth in appearance, function, and strength. Biomimetic dentistry is conservative- by only replacing what is damaged, and strong- by replicating nature’s original design.
